Principal's Message

 

 

It is an honor to introduce myself. My name is Jeanette Reyes and I am excited to serve you as the new Principal at Ninth Street Elementary School.

 

As an educator for over 18 years, I have made it my lifetime goal to teach in the community that I grew up in and continue to live in to this day. I’ve devoted my career to teaching in South Los Angeles as a result of outstanding teachers at Carver M. S. and Jefferson H. S., who believed in me and inspired me to be the change in my community. As an educator, I too value the opportunity to inspire those who come after me. I have found that my passion and commitment to teaching has grown with every passing year. I will continue with that same passion and dedication as we lead our students at Ninth Street ES.

 

I encourage you all to get involved and join us for our Coffee with the Principals meetings, Parent Workshops, ELAC and SCC meetings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Es un honor presentarme. Mi nombre es Jeanette Reyes y estoy emocionada de servirles como la nueva Directora de la Escuela Primaria Ninth Street.

 

Como educadora durante más de 17 años, me he propuesto como objetivo de por vida enseñar en la comunidad en la que crecí y en la que sigo viviendo hasta el día de hoy. He dedicado mi carrera a la enseñanza en el sur de Los Ángeles gracias a los destacados maestros de Carver M. S. y Jefferson H. S., quienes creyeron en mí y me inspiraron a ser el cambio en mi comunidad. Como educadora, yo también valoro la oportunidad de inspirar a los que vienen después de mí. He descubierto que mi pasión y compromiso con la enseñanza han crecido con cada año que pasa. Continuaré con la misma pasión y dedicación mientras guiamos a nuestros estudiantes en Ninth Street ES.

 

Los invito a todos a involucrarse y unirse a nosotros en nuestras juntas de Café con los Directoras, Talleres para-Padres, reuniones de ELAC y SCC.
